CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 22-year-old man was accused early Thursday morning of stealing from a dealership on Chicago's Northwest Side.

Keshawn Green allegedly broke into a dealership in the 5300-block of West Irving Park Road in October and stole a vehicle.

Green was stopped around 3:40 p.m. Wednesday for a minor traffic violation in the 6900-block of North Clark Street. He was arrested after the officers' investigation connected him to an alert about the October burglary.

He was charged with felony burglary and is due in bond court Thursday.

It is unclear if the arrest is related to a series of reported burglaries at dealerships in Chicago's Portage Park neighborhood over the past two months.

Police have one juvenile in custody for those thefts. They are looking for several others.
