ABC7 reporter Charles Thomas honored with 2017 Media Giant Award

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Hundreds of people gathered Sunday to honor ABC7 political reporter Charles Thomas.

Bishop Larry Trotter presented Thomas with the "2017 Media Giant Award."

His family also attended the celebration at the Sweet Holy Spirit Church.

Last week, Thomas announced that he would retire next month.
