CHICAGO (WLS) -- Charges are pending against a 35-year-old man who police found with a gun on Chicago's Southeast Side.
Officers were called to the 7500-block of South South Chicago Avenue for a report of a man with a weapon slumped over the wheel of a vehicle. When they arrived, police found him sleeping in the car.
A SWAT team was called in to assist, but police were able to coax the man out of the vehicle with his hands up. He was handcuffed and led into a squad without incident. A gun was recovered at the scene.
There were no reports of injuries.
