David Ross to meet fans at Skokie, Naperville book signings

SKOKIE, Ill. (WLS) -- David Ross, of the Chicago Cubs, was back in town Thursday to promote his new book. Fans may get a chance to meet him in north suburban Skokie!

The "Dancing with the Stars" runner-up and World Series champion former catcher will be at the Barnes and Noble at Old Orchard Center at 7 p.m.

Fans must have a ticket to get in. Tickets will only be available to fans who get them in person at the bookstore store starting at 9 a.m. People queued up early Thursday morning to get their hands on tickets.

Fans will also be required to buy a copy of Ross' book, "Teammate: My Journey in Baseball and a World Series for the Ages."

Ross is also signing copies of his book at Anderson's Bookshop in southwest suburban Naperville, but that event is sold out.
