Evanston package thief caught on camera

EVANSTON, Ill. (WLS) -- Home surveillance video captured a thief snatching some packages from a front porch in Evanston.

The incident happened Monday afternoon in the 1400-block of Cleveland Street.

The homeowner said the Amazon packages had just been dropped off five minutes before.

Inside the boxes were computer parts costing about $50. Amazon has refunded them.
