Police: Burglar breaking into North Side homes while victims sleep

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are warning residents on Chicago's North Side after a burglar broke into two homes in the last week while residents were asleep.

The burglaries happened about 1 a.m. March 10 in the 2500 block of North Marshfield; and between 2-8 a.m. on March 14 in the 4400 block of North Clark, police said.

During the Marshfield burglary, the suspect was described as a male wearing a ski mask.
