SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- Workers are putting the finishing touches on the border wall prototypes ordered by President Donald Trump.
The deadline is a week away, and five of the eight structures are already complete along the border near San Diego.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection will evaluate them for effectiveness and safety.
They are 30 feet high, made of concrete and other materials.
So far, no money has been approved for any additional construction.
