3 workers hospitalized after high levels of carbon monoxide found at SW Side plant

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Three men have been hospitalized after high levels of carbon monoxide were found at a cement plant on the Southwest Side, the Chicago Fire Department said.

The three workers were transported to hospitals in critical condition. The fire department said carbon monoxide levels inside the plant in the 3300-block of South California Avenue were 550 parts per million.
