CHICAGO (WLS) -- An innocent bystander had died after he was hit in a drive-by shooting on Tuesday in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood.

Leonardo Matias was walking to his work vehicle near Truman College when he was shot in the back of the head. The 21-year-old died Wednesday morning at Illinois Masonic Medical Center.

Investigators say Matias was not the intended target, and that the target was a man whose car was hit by some of the bullets.
