Worker hit in head by bucket at construction site

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A construction worker is hospitalized with a head injury after he was struck by a construction bucket at Washington and LaSalle.

The construction worker is in fair to serious condition, according to the Chicago Fire Department. He was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Officials have not said what led to the construction accident.
