2 injured after semi rolls onto car in Woodridge

WOODRIDGE, Ill. (WLS) -- A semi and a vehicle were involved in an accident in suburban Woodridge, officials said.

The semi rolled over onto part of the vehicle Thursday afternoon near 75th and Greene, fire officials said. Two people in the vehicle were injured; one refused treatment and the other was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries, officials said. The semi was carrying a non-hazardous material.

Officials say the intersection will be closed for awhile and encourage drivers to avoid the area.
