CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two Chicago airlines are taking steps to make sure those so-called "mistake fares" don't appear on their websites anymore.

United Airlines is reportedly working to establish a digital operations center to help identify pricing mistakes and deceptive booking practices.

American Airlines is taking a different approach. The airline is not allowing passengers to earn promotional bonus rewards points if they book a "mistake fare."
