Man, 50, killed in Elk Grove Village industrial accident

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill. (WLS) -- An investigation is underway after a 50-year-old man was killed in an industrial accident in the northwest suburbs.

Emergency crews responded to Acme Industries in Elk Grove Village on Wednesday around 12 p.m. The man was reportedly pinned in a piece of machinery.

Police have not yet identified the victim.
