Chicago man charged after selling fireworks in parking lot

A Chicago man was arrested after authorities seized 1,900-pounds of illegal fireworks, the Cook County Sheriff's Department said Friday.

Vincent Saraceno, 36, was arrested Thursday morning after officers found him selling illegal fireworks from a tent in a parking lot in the 900 block of West North Avenue in Melrose Park.

Saraceno was charged with possession/sale/use of fireworks, a misdemeanor, officials said.
