Teenager killed in South Chicago shooting

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A teenager is dead following a shooting in the city's South Chicago neighborhood Sunday.

Police say the 19-year-old was standing on the sidewalk in the 8300-block of South Baker when a minivan approached. A gunman got out and fired shots before taking off.

The victim was taken to Northwestern Hospital, where he later died.
