Girl, 12, reported missing from Uptown found safe

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 12-year-old girl who was reported missing from Chicago's Uptown neighborhood Wednesday has been found safe, police said.

The girl was reported missing about 5:30 p.m. after leaving her home in the 800-block of West Eastwood, Chicago police said.

Police said she was found safe Friday afternoon.
