Mother, son die in Bolingbrook accident

BOLINGBROOK, Ill. (WLS) -- A tragic accident in west suburban Bolingbrook left a mother and her young son dead.

Police believe the family was driving on the frontage road Saturday afternoon off southbound I-55 when a car came off the expressway and hit them.

Twenty-five-year-old Yesenia Quintero and her 2-year-old son Issac were both killed.

Investigators say the driver who hit them has been ticketed.
