Air Force dad surprises son at Mundelein school

MUNDELEIN, Ill. (WLS) -- An Air Force dad showed up at his son's school in Mundelein, and his son had no idea he was coming.

Lucas Dorn jumped into his father's arms At Fremont Elementary. Master Sgt. Eric Dorn got back Wednesday from a tour in the Middle East and drove straight to see his first grader.

Master Sgt. Dorn has served 17 years in the Air Force. Now, he's home just in time for the holidays.
