CHICAGO (WLS) -- A northwest suburban man was arrested after security at O'Hare International Airport found a loaded gun in his backpack.

Aaron Anderson, 46, of Des Plaines, was going through security to catch a flight to Las Vegas Wednesday when a TSA agent saw the outline of a gun in his backpack on the X-ray, according to the arrest report.

Anderson has been charged with trying to board an aircraft with a weapon, a felony, as well as misdemeanor charges of possessing a firearm and ammunition without valid Firearm Owner's Identification.

He was ordered held in lieu of $70,000 bond during a court hearing on Thursday.
