CHICAGO (WLS) -- Ahead of a busy travel weekend for 4th of July, Allstate released their "America's Best Drivers Report" for 2017, and Chicago's rating isn't great.

Analysis of which cities are least likely to experience collisions determined Chicago is one of the biggest offenders of unsafe driving in the United States.

Allstate said Chicago drivers crash with another vehicle about once every 8.2 years, while the national average is 10 years.

Over all, Chicago ranked 129th out of 200 in Allstate's list of the safest driving cities.

The worst drivers live in Boston, according to the list, and the best drivers live in Kansas City.
