CHICAGO (WLS) -- A group is suing Chicago, accusing the city of not providing enough affordable housing to people with disabilities over the last three decades.
Access Living of Metropolitan Chicago filed a federal lawsuit that claims that tens of thousands of units, built over decades, were not accessible to people with disabilities.

As a result, people have been forced into nursing homes and homeless shelters instead.
The city of Chicago did not respond to a request for comment on Monday.
