Parents can use the excitement of a new school year to impart important financial lessons to their kids. From school shopping to budgeting and even credit, students can learn a lot before they meet their teachers. Lynnette Khalfani-Cox, The Money Coach, is a personal finance expert and author of 12 books. In 2017, she launched a video-based learning platform called Money Coach University. Money Coach University offers online courses taught by Lynnette on numerous financial topics. Khalfani-Cox sat down with ABC 7 to talk about some financial advice parents can give their children.
