Barrington police responded at about 6:30 p.m. to a home in the 200-block of Walton Street. Barrington's fire chief said there was a stabbing in the home.
An initial investigation revealed a victim was attacked by a family member.
Three people inside the home were transported to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
A suspect was taken into custody and charges are pending, police said.
