Person injured in South Side fire

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A person was seriously injured after a fire in Chicago's Burnside neighborhood Tuesday, fire officials said.

The fire took place in the 700-block of East 91st Street at about 8:30 p.m.

Officials said a call came in about a person trapped on the second floor of the building, but the person was already outside when the Chicago Fire Department arrived.

The person was taken to Advocate Trinity Hospital in serious condition.
