Big honors in Chicago today from the Joint Civic Committee of Italian Americans.
CHICAGO (WLS) -- ABC7's president and general manager John Idler was given the prestigious Dante Award. It's given to a member of the local media who has answered Dante's call to be "no timid friend to the truth."
