CHICAGO (WLS) -- Sunday means Bears football.

"Sundays are crazy. I love Sundays with football," said David Jordan, a bartender at Timothy O'Toole's.

At Timothy O'Toole's, on a crisp, sun-soaked day in downtown Chicago, it was a Bears football family.

"I'm the last of maybe the VIP people that still come here and are alive," said Dennis Donn, a Timothy O'Toole's regular.

Donn has called this little corner of Timothy O'Toole's a second home of sorts, spending every Sunday for the past 12 years there.

"I come here, I sit here and I watch the games all day," Donn said. "They are just friendly. We discuss things. We talk. I give them advice when they want it and they're just friendly, nice people."

And when the Bears aren't having their best day, Donn always has a backup plan.

"When they get slaughtered, which they do, I go the movies," Donn said.

Matt Hohulin and his wife continue their Sunday football tradition together in a cozy bar that's also served as a place of comfort.

"After we had some work done at the hospital, we came here just to grab a beer and relax a little bit. It has a special place in my heart just because of some things that we went through at the hospital, which is close by," Hohulin said.

Timothy O'Toole's also serves as a crossroads for out-of-towners, especially after the Chicago Marathon.

Turner Wiley, who finished 19th out of 40,000, is enjoying a well-deserved post-race beer.

"I mean, the legs are sore and I got some nasty blisters on the back of my heels," Wiley said. "It's one of the best feelings. It makes you really enjoy the beer a bit more."

Whether the Bears win or lose on Sundays, being at Timothy O'Toole's just means more.

"This is a great Irish bar, but there's something really different about it," Hohulin said.

The Chicago Bears lost Sunday to the Minnesota Vikings 22- 29.

With a simple shovel pass, quarterback Kirk Cousins continued a blazing start to the Minnesota Vikings' game Sunday against the Chicago Bears.
Cousins' 1-yard touchdown pass to receiver Jalen Reagor was Cousins' 17th consecutive completion to open the game, ESPN reported. Overall, it was his 19th consecutive completion, counting his final two passes in a Week 4 victory over the New Orleans Saints. Cousins' next attempt vs. the Bears was incomplete.

Cousins broke Tommy Kramer's team record of 16 consecutive completions, set in 1979. Of his first 17 completions Sunday, eight went to receiver Justin Jefferson for 122 yards.
According to NFL Next Gen Stats, none of Cousins' first 17 throws were targeted at a tight window. In other words, Cousins has had receivers breaking open for him on every passing play.
