Chicago celebrating 182nd birthday Monday

A Chicago landmark affectionately known as "The Bean" has been named among the best in the country.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago is celebrating its 182nd birthday Monday, and the Chicago History Museum is celebrating by offering free admission to all Illinois residents.

The museum at 1601 N. Clark Street opens at 9:30 a.m.

The museum hosted its History Happy Hour, which featured a talk on the meaning behind the Chicago flag, cocktails, music and an over-sized birthday card for guest to sign.
