Man, 37, charged in Chinatown stabbings

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 37-year-old Chicago man was charged Tuesday in the stabbing of three people, one fatally, in the city's Chinatown neighborhood, police sad.

Raul Gonzalez faces one count of felony murder and two counts of aggravated battery with the use of a deadly weapon.

He is accused of stabbing three men in the 200-block of West 23rd Street, where he also lives, at about 7:30 p.m. Monday. A 50-year-old man died of multiple stab wounds.

A 23-year-old male sustained lacerations to the groin area. A third male victim, 44-years-old sustained stab wounds to the face and head.

Gonzalez was arrested 4 a.m. Tuesday in the 1900-block of West Ogden.

Gonzalez is scheduled to appear Wednesday in Cook County Bond Court.
