Chicago celebrates sister cities at reception

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago celebrated citizen diplomacy and the work of its 28 sister cities around the world Thursday night at the annual Chicago Sister Cities International reception.

Chicago has the largest program of its kind in the country, with sister cities in Greece, Ireland, the U.K., Indian, Germany, Mexico, France, Russia, Poland, China, Japan, South Africa and Switzerland, just to name a few. All were represented at the reception.
