Southbound Route 83 under Lake Street is closed from North Avenue to I-290, officials said. Lake Street was also closed in both directions over Route 83 from Grand Avenue to Wood Dale Road but has reopened.
The southbound Rt. 83 exit ramps from both directions of I-290 have also reopened.

Chopper 7HD flew above the scene as a large number of emergency vehicles responded to the fire.
The DuPage County Sheriff's Office said the driver of the truck was not injured. The driver noticed it was operating strangely and got out before it became engulfed.
A bridge inspector determined there was no structural damage to the overpass over Lake Street.
