ROSELLE, Ill. (WLS) -- The Cook County Sheriff's Office is sharing surveillance video hoping to get more leads on this team of car thieves breaking into a dealership in unincorporated Roselle.

The thieves used a rock or a brick to gain entry into the dealership, and in a matter of minutes, undid years of labor at the family-owned business.

The theft happened early Monday morning at the Auto Haus on Roselle Road.

The manager of Exclusive AutoHaus asked to not show his face.

The burglars rolled up early Monday morning.

At least ten burglars are seen exiting a vehicle and casually checking out the dealership's glass facade

After failing to open a garage door, one of the thieves decides to smash the window.

With the alarm blaring, the bandits work fast.

Nine of them rush inside while one stayed outside to stand watch.

"They broke the glass on our back room, opened, unlocked that door -- whatever they could. They found keys," the manager said.

With key fobs in hand, the thieves head outside unlocking one car after another.

In the end, they make off with six luxury vehicles, including a blue 2014 Audi S7, two blue 2017 Audi Q7s, a blue 2018 Mercedes Benz GLS 450, a white 2019 Mercedes Benz E300, and a black 2014 Maserati Ghibli.

Oak Park police recovered the abandoned 2014 Audi.

This type of crime is hardly new. A rash of break-ins at city and suburban dealerships forced changes in the industry since last year.

"Please do whatever you can to protect your businesses and your employees," the manager said.
So far, no arrests have been made.
