Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White will distribute 17,000 donated hams and turkeys on Wednesday.

This marks White's 52nd year coordinating the food drive, which provides for families on the city's Near North, Near West and Near South sides.
The hams and turkeys were unloaded from delivery trucks early Wednesday and will be distributed later in the morning.
