MALDEF honors people making a difference in the community

Four people making a difference in the community were honored Wednesday night by the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Four people making a difference in the community were honored Wednesday night by the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund.

Those recognized included State Representative Elizabeth Hernandez and Notre Dame professor Luis Ricardo Fraca.

ABC7 Eyewitness News' Stacey Baca served as the emcee.
