BARRINGTON, Ill. (WLS) -- A freight train struck a tractor-trailer truck Tuesday morning in northwest suburban Barrington, blocking Metra trains on the Union-Pacific Northwest Line in both directions.
There is no word yet on whether anyone was hurt.

Metra officials said inbound train No. 638, which was scheduled to arrive at Ogilvie Transportation Center in Chicago at 10:23 a.m., was stopped near Fox River Grove due to the freight crash.
Trains appeared to be moving again by Tuesday afternoon.
