Police said 6-year-old Caleb Morales, his mother, 51-year-old Justina Mendoza Rodriguez, and his father, 67-year-old Pedro Morales were all last seen on Tuesday near their home in the 2200 block of South Kedzie Avenue.
Kristian Armendariz, a community organizer for the Little Village Community Council, said that the sources indicated the father, Pedro Morales, was possibly being harassed and threatened by an unknown party, and he was worried for the safety of his family.
Neighbors said it is not normal for the family, who own a business nearby, to leave without notice. Members of the Little Village community said they are desperate to find the family.
Police are asking anyone with information on the family's whereabouts to call them.
