Kimberly Mitchell Davis, who marked one year since she adopted Nadia, was among the parents at the event.

"I love being in this family because I love my mom and my siblings and I can't stop loving them," said Nadia.

Davis encourages others to consider adoption, which she said fulfilled her life.

Nadia's sister and brother were also adopted by Davis' two sisters.

"I really love my mom for taking them in and I love my mom's sisters, my aunts, for taking my brother and sister," said Gabriella Gooden.
