Since opening in 1987, the National Museum of Mexican Art has held 220 exhibitions. It now houses a 10,000-piece permanent collection. You can find the museum in the heart of Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood. Chief curator Cesáreo Moreno and Chicago artist Georgina Valverde both visited ABC 7 Eyewitness News to show some of the featured work now on display.
