MUSCATINE, Iowa (WLS) -- Stunning images after two vacant buildings collapse in eastern Iowa, sending bricks and debris into the street.

The collapse happened Friday night in downtown Muscatine, about 30 miles west of the Quad Cities.

Officials are working to determine the cause, but say one of the buildings was in the process of being demolished.

The collapse is raising questions about other historic buildings along Second Street, many of which share walls.
