The event is named after ABC7 reporter Jim Gibbons, who lost his battle with leukemia in 1994.
The run and walk raises money for the Leukemia Research Foundation.
The 2026 ABC7 Gibbons run includes a chip-timed 5K run, 3K walk, a kids' dash, and a special "tiny trot" for those aged 3 and under.
After the races, there will be a celebration at Montrose Harbor.
