CHICAGO (WLS) -- ABC7's Hosea Sanders is being recognized at the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) Chicago Chapter's inaugural Red Hot Holiday Awards Ceremony, celebrating excellence in journalism and community leadership.
The event honors journalists, media professionals, and students making a lasting impact. Scholarships are awarded to support the next generation of Black journalists.
Other honorees include Art Norman, Dorothy Leavell, Rev. Lacy Banks, Tonia Hill, Nicole Jeanine Johnson, Elijah James, and Sylvia Snowden.
"This evening celebrates excellence, resilience, and the power of journalism to inform and inspire," said NABJ Chicago president Brandon Pope.
