At least 1 in custody amid SWAT investigation in Addison, police say

ADDISON, Ill. (WLS) -- At least one person was taken into custody in a SWAT investigation in suburban Addison, police said.



Police responded to reports of shots fired in the 300-block of N. State Street on Sunday.

Witnesses told police that a suspect fired a gunshot outside an apartment complex amid a domestic dispute.

Nobody was hurt by gunfire.



Police said the SWAT team with Northern Illinois Police Alarm System, also known as NIPAS, executed a search warrant at the residence.

ABC7 obtained video showing tactical officers outside a residential building.

Police said "all those involved" were taken into custody.

No other information was available.
