LOS ANGELES -- When asked backstage about what he's learned from making "Birdman," director Alejandro Inarritu responded by calling fear the "condom of life."
"I think it's when you lose fear. Fear is the condom of life. It doesn't allow you to enjoy things," Inarritu said.
