10 church communities informed after 2 retired priests accused of abuse: Archdiocese of Chicago

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Archdiocese of Chicago sent letters to 10 different church communities, after two different retired priests were accused of sexually abusing minors.

The archdiocese says it's been informed a lawsuit will be filed alleging abuse by Father Kenneth Fleck.



The abuse allegedly happened more than 30 years ago at Our Lady of Peace Parish.

Father fleck denies the allegations.



He served at parishes in Oak Lawn, South Holland, Tinley Park and Chicago.

The archdiocese also sent letters about a lawsuit claiming abuse by Father Thomas Conde.

That alleged abuse happened at Saint James Parish more than 20 years ago.

Father Conde is also denying the allegations.



He worked at churches in Lansing, Chicago, Western Springs and Libertyville.
