CHICAGO (WLS) -- At least one person was injured in a fire at a seniors independent living facility in Edgewater, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
CFD crews were called to Breakers at Edgewater Beach, 5333 N. Sheridan Road, Monday morning. The fire, which was on the 28th floor of the 30-floor building, was quickly extinguished.
At least one person was injured. His or her injuries are not known.
