CHICAGO (WLS) -- Crash-and-grab thieves stole an ATM from a South Side gas station on Saturday morning, Chicago police said.

Police said it happened at the BP at West 87th and South Morgan streets in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood around 5:45 a.m.

Two Jeeps entered the parking lot, and the white Jeep's driver drove into the front of the gas station, police said. Video from the scene shows that part of the wall is completely gone.

Police said four suspects got out of the Jeeps and took an ATM from the gas station. The group then got into the black Jeep and fled the scene westbound on 87th Street.

Area Two detectives are investigating.

Authorities did not immediately provide further information.
