HAMPSHIRE, Ill. (WLS) -- A 61-year-old Aurora man has been charged in a hit-and-run crash that killed a bicyclist last month, Kane County officials said Tuesday.

Marcos Moreno has been charged with failure to report a crash resulting in a death, leaving the scene of a crash resulting in a death and obstructing justice.

The Kane County state's attorney said about 12:40 a.m. July 6, Hampshire police responded to the area of Route 20, between Big Timber and Gast roads for a reported crash involving a bicyclist.

Ebony Calvillo, 27, of Hampshire was pronounced dead on the scene.

The Kane County Coroner's Office said she died from the crash.

Moreno was found to be driving a 1994 Chevy pickup truck; officials said he did not stop after hitting Calvillo.

Officials said he hid the damaged truck by temporarily storing it in a parking lot and having it towed to his house.

Moreno is due in court Wednesday.
