Police said the shooting happened in the Austin neighborhood's 400-block of North Pine Avenue around 9:30 a.m.
A dark-colored vehicle stopped near a 20-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman, who were outside, police said. Someone inside the vehicle fired shots before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.
The 50-year-old woman, shot in the abdomen and arm, was transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital in critical condition.
The 20-year-old man, shot in the body, was taken to the same hospital in good condition.
Police later said two other victims, a 21-year-old man and a 25-year-old man, were also injured in the shooting. They both self-transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital.
The 21-year-old, shot in the back, was listed in critical condition, and the 25-year-old, shot in the leg, was listed in good condition.
No other injuries were reported, and Area Detectives are investigating.
Police did not immediately provide further information about the shooting.
