CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Chicago Bears took on the Miami Dolphins in their first NFL preseason game of the year Sunday.

The teams tied with a final score of 24-24.

Kickoff happened noon at Chicago's Soldier Field.

Sunday's match marked the head coaching debut of Ben Johnson.

Last week, Johnson announced quarterback Caleb Williams would be a spectator for Sunday's game. Eighteen other starters joined him on the sideline.

The game comes as the Bears released plans last week to build their new stadium in Arlington Heights.
