Campton Hills police responded to the 4n600-block of Brookside West Drive around 10:45 p.m. Friday.
There, they found a female of an unknown age who was pronounced dead on the scene. Her identity was not immediately released.
Police said they are conducting a death investigation, adding that this is an isolated incident with no threat to the community.
