New Lenox police say a group created an account on a social media app they claimed belonged to a 15-year-old girl.
They allegedly set up a meeting at a New Lenox Walmart with 33-year-old Bryan Marinucci.
When he arrived, the group got into a fight with Marinucci.
When police arrived to break up the fight, investigators say Marinucci admitted to trying to meet with a young girl to have sex with her.
He now faces charges of traveling to meet a child and grooming.
